Happy Holidays, a film by Palestinian filmmaker Scandar Copti, has won the top prize at Greece’s Thessaloniki Film Festival. First debuted at Venice Film Festival earlier this year, the film is a family drama which explores the gendered, cultural and political intricacies of a Palestinian family’s life in Haifa, Israel.
