Moncler’s new Genius campaign sees A$AP Rocky, Willow Smith and Hiroshi Fujiwara reimagined as their five-year-old selves. To celebrate the launch of their new Shanghai Genius activation “City of Genius” – which sees the traditional runway-based fashion show digitally transformed into a 30,000 square-metre “metropolis of immersive experience” – the outerwear brand has imagined their upcoming collaborators as five-year-old muses of themselves. Influenced by the 1960s study which found that 98% of five-year-olds can be classed as geniuses, the activation asks collaborators – which additionally include Donald Glover, Rick Owens, Lulu Li and so many more – to channel that unrestrained creative, well, genius.
Y/Project is for sale. Following Glenn Martens’ departure from his role as creative director at the label last month, Y/Project is now seeking a buyer. The move comes after the French label was placed under administration by a Paris commercial court on 26 September. With no creative director at the helm and a looming deadline for new buyers of 16 October, the future of the brand is looking pretty rocky.
Caroline Polachek, Bladee, Julian Casablancas and more will feature on the Brat remix album. Charli handed the full tracklist for the upcoming remix album to a fan at the Orlando Sweat Tour show and asked them to post it online, Pop Crave reported. Seems like we really can expect a Bon Iver x Charli collab this Friday, as well as features from Shygirl, Bb trickz, Tinashe, The 1975, Jon Hopkins, A.G. Cook, Ariana Grande and The Japanese House.

Kim will also loan the exhibition pieces from his personal Bloomsbury collection – the largest privately owned collection of its kind. The free exhibition opens at Sotheby’s in London on 9 November.

Terrifier 3 is so scary that French cinemas are resurrecting an 18-year-old rule that bans under-18s from attending. Ahead of the film’s release later this week, the French film classification committee imposed the rule which hasn’t been used since Saw 3‘s release in 2006. Obviously, the film’s French distributors aren’t too keen on the decision, arguing that despite the film franchise’s mostly teenage audience, viewers will be able to “have all the distance and maturity they need to understand and appreciate this artistic approach.”
This week on i-D we delved into the late British-Nigerian photographer Rotimi Fani-Kayode’s “galactic post-punk” legacy, hopped into London lesbian bar La Camionera, spoke to London-based rapper Pozer about his meteoric rise to fame, and chatted to Vaquera designers Patric DiCaprio and Bryn Taubensee about the defining moments of the label from the past decade. Check out the whole site for much, much more.
