Sotheby’s has replicated a vintage subway station full of Keith Haring drawings. Ahead of their upcoming auction of Haring’s work, the gallery will transport viewers into a replica of the 23rd Street station in 1980. Complete with vintage benches, turnstiles and tiled walls, Art in Transit: 31 Keith Haring Subway Drawings from the Collection of Larry Warsh evokes the spirit of the era Haring’s drawings were created in.
