    Dries Van Noten presents Common Ground. Curated by Brian Boa, Common Ground explores the “dynamics of domestic life.” From surveillance video footage to subversive sculpture work that critiques America’s penal system, the multi-medium work on display from contemporary artists EFE, Martine Syms, Mark Lecky, Lloyd Foster, Walid Labri and Hassan Rahim examines how public and private spaces influence creative processes. Common Ground is on at Los Angeles’ The Little House Gallery until 14 December.

Polish photographer Adrian Staniec invited several of his friends to model for his latest project, Warsaw’s Creative Friendzone. From models to filmmakers to painters, it documents the lives and worlds of some of the city’s artistic young people.

    Happy Holidays, a film by Palestinian filmmaker Scandar Copti, has won the top prize at Greece’s Thessaloniki Film Festival. First debuted at Venice Film Festival earlier this year, the film is a family drama which explores the gendered, cultural and political intricacies of a Palestinian family’s life in Haifa, Israel.

    The 2025 Grammy nominations are in. Dominating the nominations list is Beyoncé with 11 nods. As expected, this year’s pop girlies Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter also scored big, with Charli and Billie earning seven nominations each and Chappell and Sabrina earning six respectively.  Fontaines D.C., Clairo, Troye Sivan, André 3000, Kim Gordon and Doechii also picked up some nominations.

Coming 17 July 2025, the book is an “homage to all chefs, gourmands, gluttons and lovers.” Check out Lena Dunham and Casisdead narrating some of its pages in the video below.
