Mykki Blanco has detailed a disturbing encounter that took place on a flight from Toronto to Detroit on Friday. Taking to Twitter, Blanco stated that he was awoken at the end of the Delta Airlines flight by U.S. police, the officer in question called following a complaint made by the rapper’s nearest seat mate.

“He said that he was not comfortable and did not know how Delta allowed ‘someone like me’ to board the plane with him and sit next to him,” Blanco wrote. The artist — who is currently touring the U.S. with fellow rapper Cakes Da Killa — was reportedly also informed that an FBI report would be made from the “interaction”, facing possible jail time if he continued to question the incident.

“If the story I shared earlier involving my flight from Toronto to Detroit seems vague it’s because it is,” Blanco later tweeted, stating a hope that Delta’s cabin crew will be able to corroborate the claim that he was merely sleeping. Read the full account below.

He said that he was not comfortable and did not know how @Delta allowed “someone like me” to board the plane with him and sit next to him

This is REAL @Delta. Then I was told by a police officer that an FBI report would be made from our “interaction”, except I did not interact

I was told I would “go to jail” if I continued to ask questions about why this police officer was giving preferential treatment to this man

I was then told I could file a report myself and give “my side of the story”.. but the entire incident itself is fabricated

This is the most bizarre form of homophobia I have ever encountered

I’m hoping that the cabin crew @Delta can come forward to provide proof that I slept through the entire flight https://t.co/HAewpQLVxc
