Jeremy Scott is the ultimate pop culture designer. From popstars at his shows, to explosive spectacles that speak to an audience far beyond the traditional runway, in the almost twenty years (!) since he first burst onto the scene, this farm boy from Missouri has taken the all-American dream of cartoons, fast food and Barbie dolls, breathing fresh life into a storied Italian brand in the process. From the golden arches of that first Moschino show in 2014 to the “Dolly on Molly” inspired collection for his own brand earlier this year, his work best seen on the stages and music videos of his own A-list Superstars – Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, A$AP Rocky – and is less about pleasing the black-clad fashion pack, and more about pleasing, well, everyone else. The world loves him. We love him. Have a very Jeremy Christmas this year.
