Want to enter your photography into a competition and see it exhibited this summer? Well, here’s your chance. This time last year we announced the the Palm* Photo Prize opened its submissions and we’re right here again for 2022.
A lot has changed in a year — and you can’t say there hasn’t been anything worth photographing! If you’ve been looking for a chance to bring your work to a wider audience then we’d like you to submit an image to this prize (we’re helping judge the entries). With an emphasis on finding a fresh, diverse crop of image-makers, a total of 100 entries will be selected to appear in the Palm* Photo Prize exhibition at 10 14 Gallery sponsored by Spectrum & INK, with a handful of our favourites receiving Judge’s Panel prizes, the People’s Choice Award and the Canvas Represents Mentorship programme. These will be announced online in early June.
The judges panel includes: Alastair McKimm, Editor-in-Chief of i-D, who is joined by some of the most exciting names in the world of art and photography. Lola & Pani’s Lola Paprocka is on this years judging panel too, as well as CANVAS Represents agent Jono Tusder, Emmazed founder Mahmoud ‘Mo’ Mfinanga, Riposte Magazine Photo Director Gem Fletcher and photographer Prarthna Singh.
Submissions are free and open 15 February – 15 March 2022. Find more details here and a handful of last year’s shortlisted artists and winners below.
