As the captain of the England women’s football team (soccer to all you Americans), 25-year-old footballer Leah Williamson might be well established in the world of sports — but she is still a rising star in the realms of fashion. Well, not for long. The Arsenal FC player has been tapped by Gucci, always one to spot a star-in-the-making. The Italian house invited her to Puglia to bear witness to her first-ever fashion show, titled ‘Gucci Cosmonogie’ — even naming a star after her. We asked Leah to take us behind-the-scenes on her whirlwind tour, from getting Guccified to dancing the night away with Jeremy O. Harris, Lana del Rey and Paul Mescal.
