Where are you from? Melbourne
What brings you to Tokyo? I wanted to get a taste of what the fashion industry in the world’s largest city was like, improve my Japanese and eat more sushi.
Best thing about living in Tokyo? Old ladies in kimonos on the metro. Still killing it at 85.
What are you wearing head to toe? SUS Tokyo T-shirt, Comme des Garçons pants, Reebok shoes.
What are you listening to on repeat right now? Dazed and Confused by Die Antwoord. Indispensable for making a rush hour sardine-can train bearable.
Where would you take us to on a day or night out in Tokyo? Beat Cafe in Shibuya, it’s a cesspool of old, young, foreign, local, painfully trendy and painfully messy people.
What’s the strangest thing as a visitor to this country? You can read porn on the train without anyone batting an eyelid, but can’t go to a gym / pool / etc with a tattoo.
What is something you’re looking forward to? Working on a couple of creative projects with one of my best friends Yuri, now that we finally live in the same city.
