Happy Monday! The new week is here and with it comes the chance to delve deep into some fresh culture and fashion. Here’s your latest look at the i-D Guide.

Marni and Uniqlo’s AW22 collaboration
Marking what Uniqlo call “the end of the first chapter” of their link-up with the storied Milanese fashion house, Marni x Uniqlo is swinging into stores and online on 1 December. The collection — mostly womenswear but of course, what does that mean in this day and age? — is comprised of wintry accessories like scarves and gloves, but also deliciously patterned cashmere knitwear and puffer coats. Wrap up and look bold doing it. Check out the full collection here.
Patta x Tommy
Titans of global street culture repping the Netherlands and the US respectively, Patta and Tommy Hilfiger have joined forces for a new collaboration. Comprised of denim, hoodies, regatta jackets and more in apparel, and even a vinyl celebrating a new track between New York hip-hop artists Mike and Wiki, the full lookbook is available online now before going on sale this Friday 2 December. Check it out here.
Snag… the Carne Bollente x Frizbee Ceramics collab
If you felt like your crockery cupboard was lacking a real injection of sex and horniness, the good folks at Carne Bollente are about to change that. Linking up with Frizbee Ceramics, their new venture sees their signature optimistic, sex-positive approach emblazoned across plates and mugs. Literally, an orgasm on a plate. Grab the collection from 29 November on CarneBollente.com.
and the new Hot and Cool magazine
A coterie of legendary names in fashion image-making band together once again for the return of the cult mag Hot and Cool. 500 copies, five covers; no words, just pictures. Collaborators include Alasdair McLellan, Max Pearmain, Alice Goddard, David Sims and many, many more. IDEA have the exclusive so snag it here first.
Watch… Lynch/Oz
David Lynch, an inspiration for so many, has many inspirations of his own. Most prominently, some argue, the family fairytale classic The Wizard of Oz. In this film, cultural theorists chart the symbiotic relationship between the surreal energy of David Lynch’s work and the 1939 technicolour classic. Catch it in cinemas and on demand on 2 December.
Read… Through the Billboard Promised Land Without Ever Stopping
In his lifetime, the legendary artist and writer Derek Jarman wrote only one piece of fiction: this abstract tale of a king and his valet setting out on a journey with no solid destination. Trippy in its form of storytelling, it acts as a springboard for much of Derek Jarman’s later work. Buy it here.
Listen to… gigi
Having supported Coldplay and Noah Cyrus already, new artist gigi is building upon viral TikTok success to have an actually interesting music career. Her latest single “Figurines” not only has exquisite artwork, but also showcases her woozy production style and distinct vocal delivery. Stream “Figurines” and follow gigi on Instagram here.
Go to… The Glass Menagerie
Before acclaimed theatre director Ivo van Hove swings back to London with his four-hour English language production of Hanya Yanagihara’s A Little Life, you can catch him in Paris, staging his reprise of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie. Starring Isabelle Huppert, it had great reviews when it last played in Amsterdam, and has a month-long stint at the Odéon Théâtre de l’Europe in Paris. Get the few tickets left available here.
