    Snag… CRA-YON fragrances

Time to switch up your standard scent, and veer off the traditional big-brand path. CRA-YON, a Swedish fragrance brand, are creating some of the most singular we’ve encountered. Try the woody and violet-doused Sand Service if you love smelling like the great outdoors; Passport Amour smells like falling in love. Check out the full range here.

    Watch… Lady Chatterley’s Lover

Continuing their run of roles as women in deeply unsatisfactory marriages, Emma Corrin leads this electric and troublingly sexy adaptation of the controversial D.H. Lawrence novel. A woman in aristocratic England, tired of her arsehole husband, embarks on an affair with the groundskeeper of her manor instead. Magic and erotic, it’s in cinemas from Friday 25 November.

Read… Now Go: On Grief and Studio Ghibli

Writer Karl Thomas Smith interrogates the ways in which our favourite animation house, Studio Ghibli, has been grappling with death and the aftermath of it in their work for decades, but also how we find our own version of it in the corners where most assume it might not exist. Now Go: on Grief and Studio Ghibli is available to buy here.

    Listen to… khai dreams

A maker of what they call “unhinged bedroom pop”, khai dreams is back with a new single, titled “Rats”, which you can stream above. If that scuzzy and sweet track tickles your fancy, you can pre-save their next album titled Absolute Heartbreak, due out on 27 January, here. Give them an IG follow while you’re at it.

Go to… Fly in League with the Night

Figures born from her imagination, crafted instinctively, make up the majority of British artist Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s work, exhibited at the Tate Britain under the title Fly in League with the Night. After being cut short by COVID, and then going on a global tour, the collection of 70 works return to the gallery, and are on display from 24 November. More information here.
