No more Sally Rooney TV shows (for now). Ahead of the release of her new novel Intermezzo tomorrow, the Irish author has told the New York Times that she’s not planning on selling the rights to any more of her books anytime soon.  She felt that the world of TV, and the discourse that came with the kind of stars her work has previously made of her young actors, was not a “world was not where [she] belonged.” Sad – but fair enough!
