Far from the place your mum bought your primary school shoes, Clarks has cemented itself as a brand for hypebeasts everywhere in recent years, thanks in part to some impressive collabs. And the new Wallabees, part of the OVO x Clarks Originals collaboration (the collective founded by Drake) looks to be no exception.
Launching this Friday, the new shoe is testament to Drake’s long term love affair with the trusty old Wallabee — he’s been championing it since 2016. Each pair are made from Italian suede, with the special OVO monogram embossed on the upper and a gold owl emblem on the tag. Available in adult and kids sizes, the new Wallabees come in orange, baby blue, black and beige (good luck choosing).
It leads on from OVO’s last collab with Clarks Originals; their embossed classic desert boots debuted last year. It also comes after Clarks’ Trigenics collab with Black Panther earlier this year.
The Clarks Originals x OVO wallabies will be available from OVO’s online store and Clarks Originals’ London Berwick Street Store from 27th April, which is payday! (Read: good for you, bad for your bank account.)
