Happy Friday fashion girlies! Another week, another host of collabs, campaigns and shows galore and we have some extra special ones for you this week from must buy Luar, Nike and Vivienne Westwood pieces, to a must-see Heaven by Marc Jacobs campaign and Dior show in Mumbai. Here’s what’s in fashion.

Everything you need to know about Dior’s show in Mumbai

Historical and monumental, the Gateway of India was built on the bay of Mumbai in 1904 to welcome Britain’s then king and queen on their visit to the country. It goes without saying that a lot has changed since then. Once a symbol of colonialism, the Gujarati-style arch today serves as a reminder of India’s influence and standing as a global superpower, which is why it is the city’s most-visited attraction. Yesterday marked the first time a fashion show has been staged at the landmark. Who could manage to land that coup? Dior, of course. One of the most emblematic couture houses in the world, Dior brought the international fashion community to the colourful shores of Mumbai, a city where the ancient collides with the contemporary; street food vendors and skyscrapers sit alongside Victorian gothic architecture and minarets along the coastal skyline. Read all about it here!

Luar x Mejuri turn the it-girl bag into it-girl earrings

Thought the Luar Ana bag couldn’t get any smaller? Well, the LVMH prize semi-finalist’s latest collaboration with jewellers Mejuri said: ‘Hold my purse!’ Purse earrings to be specific. Showcased first on the Luar AW23 runway, the it-bag with a structured body and oversized hoop handle that fashion girlies everywhere are roaming city streets with has been turned into a tiny hoop charm with a white topaz gemstone centre. Other pieces in the limited edition collection include a new version of the small white Ana bag, now with a gold chain and co-branded jewellery pouch, so you’re not rooting around for ages to find your 18k carat gold oval hoops with an adjoining enamel hoop that can be flipped or removed depending the occasion and the look. We love a vers queen! Check all the pieces out on the Mejuri and Luar websites. TG

Say yes to the Vivienne Westwood dress

Wedding season is coming up and if you haven’t yet found the one to marry The One, Vivienne Westwood have got you covered with the launch of their 2023 bridal collection. The stunning line of 12 made-to-order and bespoke pieces sure to make your friend’s gasp, your dad cry and your exes watching from the Instagram Stories jealous, is inspired by the night sky. Like the beautiful chaos of our twirling galaxies and nebulas, silvery whites, blush pinks and rich golds are contrasted with deep gem-toned reds, aquamarines and sapphires on gowns that are orbited by ethereal lace veils with a ring of gold detailing; ethereal trains and capes extended for light years; intricately ruched lace and silk bolero sleeves, some held delicately by satin bows and ornamental metallic embellishments that take each gown further into the astral plane. Like the unpredictability of the cosmos too, many of the pieces are customisable – from strapless corset gowns with a removable, futuristic watteau cape to trains on minidresses that can either be bustled or worn over the shoulders and belted at the hip and the asymmetric luna dress with a removable lower skirt ready for whatever the post-wedding night may bring. Furthermore, the collection is made with low-impact fabrics on the environment, many of them recycled. What more do you need to say yes to the dress? Whether you’re getting married or not, check them all out at Vivienne Westwood boutiques while a select made-to-order offering will be available from their website. TG

Heaven have their most iconic line up of familiar faces yet

Babe, wake up! A new Heaven by Marc Jacobs campaign just dropped and not only is it edgier than ever before, it also features a buffet of our favourite celebrities. North West bestie Ice Spice poses between barbed wire with the handcuff bag beloved by Paris Hilton. Everyone’s favourite panera bread worker Ethel Cain goes full Americana with a cowboy hat and earthy knitted cropped jumper while riding a demonic looking bull. Then there’s mother to all fashion girlies Michèle Lamy wearing a shredded american flag knit, and mother to the messed up gays M3GAN, replacing her babydoll looks with knee high boots and an oversized hoodie – she’s in her punk era! Then there’s also Liv Tyler, Lil Uzi Vet and Yves Tumor to complete this iconic line up. What’s more, this month’s drop features collaborations with cool girl artist Sonya Sombreuil’s Come Tees, while next month Renee and Gibson Fox of Daisy have worked with the brand on a number of new silhouettes and designs. The devil works hard but Marc Jacobs works harder! TG
