**Podcast: Where Should We Begin?
**Where should we begin, questioning podcast? With our astronomical student loan repayments? With millionaires telling us we can’t afford homes due to our crippling avocado debts? With the fact that a woman can’t take an emotional support peacock on a plane anymore?? We don’t know loads about this podcast other than it “takes you into the antechamber of our most intimate moments so that we might learn, explore and experience alongside the couples who have been gracious enough to let us in”. Pray the Trump/Stormy Daniels episode never materialises.
Season 2 is available on Audible .
**Trendy magazine: The September Issues
**A very weighty copy of new magazine The September Issues landed on our desk last week. A biannual print magazine edited, photographed and produced solely by women, it intends to give back to the world, each issue sponsoring a specific organisation that supports women (all proceeds from this one are donated to Planned Parenthood in the United States). Weighs an absolute ton too.
The September Issues is out now .
**Event: Hyde Park Book Club’s second birthday
**Up in Leeds, “events-led, pan-arts creative-hub” Hyde Park Book Club are celebrating two years of heavily-hyphenated support for local artists with a week of birthday events. Happenings include an evening of local women in jazz, a scratch night with Red Ladder’s Chris O’Connor and a political discussion with Leeds Independent Socialists. We’re nothing if not eclectic, readers.
5 — 11 February, Hyde Park Book Club , Leeds.
Art: Eddie Peake, He Xiangyu and Andreas Gursky
And what a load of absolute art this is. Eddie Peake, He Xiangyu and Andreas Gursky chucked together at White Cube’s Bermondsey branch like a multi-cuisine buffet restaurant. We’re particularly looking forward to Eddie Peake’s Concrete Pitch, a recreation of the bare, concrete recreation ground in Finsbury Park, North London, where the artist grew up.
6 February, White Cube Bermondsey, London.
