When you come from a family of supermodel royalty, gracing the cover of Vogue Homme and strutting the Calvin Klein catwalk comes as second nature. Teenager Oliver Sonne is no exception. Born in Karlslunde, this 17-year-old Danish star on the rise, who is fortuitously the nephew of 90s supermodel Helena Christensen, is making some serious waves in the fashion industry since his breakout campaign for Loewe spring/summer 18. Although he’s picked up some fashion family secrets along the way, he’s adamant on kickstarting his career on his own terms, and dreams of fronting campaigns for designers like Calvin Klein and Dsquared2. If his most recent stint on the Calvin Klein spring/summer 18 catwalk — he walked alongside his baby cousin Mingus, cute! — is anything to go by, those dreams will be turning into a reality pretty darn soon. But that’s not to say Oliver is going to get ahead of himself. Far from it; in fact he’s planning on taking the rollercoaster ride of fashion fame day by day. How sensible! We interrupted Oliver’s busy schedule of playing footie, hanging out with friends, and well just being really, really ridiculously good looking, to find out what makes him tick.
1. He would spend his last day on earth chowing down on…
“Watermelon or Sushi.”
Both delicious?
2. He’s deathly afraid of cats and you’ll certainly never find him petting one…
“I’m a dog person.”
*buys dog asap
3. He’s actually quite romantic…
“My ideal date would be to go to a restaurant and get a good steak.”
Hope he likes sharing.
4. Right now he’s listening to…
“Drake.”
Duh.
5. He knows how to take a good selfie…
Case in point.
