The platonic love story of Shouse‘s Jack and Ed began at a cosmic-house gig at a club in Northcote. Since they met, cloaked in a smoke machine shroud, the two admit to have spent nearly every day together making and talking about music. It’s a dreamy picture, and one they want to share with others. They describe this mix as representing their ” friendship and creativity that has blossomed since.” Most of the tracks were discovered over the summer festive season while they were becoming best mates and having “multiple consecutive best nights of lives.” With that in mind, it’s not surprising they note it’s tinged with “relentlessly blind optimism for the whole ride.”
