This morning British design darling Craig Green shared the first images of his work from the upcoming Ridley Scott Alien film, Alien Covenant. The current British menswear designer of the year posted two shots to Instagram, giving us our first sense of the costumes he worked on with costume designer Janty Yates. The images show Michael Fassbender and co-stars decked out in some subtly chic army fatigues. Considering Green has won acclaim for his ability to play with and reimagine our ingrained ideas of uniforms, we can see why he’d be at home with the film’s aesthetics. Also, calling it now, we think those flap caps could make their way into streetwear by the time the film is released in May.
