Versace, Versace, Versace. The Italian fashion house recalls different iconic images for each of us. Some think of the Versace of the 90s — those metallic mini skirts in pastel tones teamed with cozy knit jumpers, worn by the supers of the era in Richard Avedon’s photographs. Others instantly remember the iconic jungle print dress worn by JLo to the 2000 Grammy Awards, Liz Hurley’s safety pin number, or hip-hop trio Migos’s Versace’d-out ode to the house. But what about Versace according to its creative director, Donatella?

A new book, Versace, reveals exactly that. Featuring photography by Avedon, Steven Meisel, and more; collections modeled by the OG supers such as Christy, Naomi, and Linda; and essays by some of fashion’s most authoritative voices, the tome offers a contemporary portrait of the fashion house seen through the eyes of its enduring matriarch.

To coincide with the launch Donatella will be touring through London, New York and Milan to introduce the book in person. She’ll be joined by some of fashion’s most esteemed figures as moderators, including Tim Blanks. What more could you want?

Donatella will be signing and discussing the book in London on December 4 at the V&A.
