News has broken that Kim Kardashian was the victim of a terrifying robbery in Paris just hours ago. While reports differ over whether the incident took place in a hotel or a luxury residence, all have stated five men with handguns gained access to Kim’s room on Sunday night by posing as police officers. Although the reality star was with her usual security team, her bodyguard was reportedly handcuffed during the break in. The intruders held her at gunpoint before taking millions of dollars worth of jewelry. Kim’s spokesperson, Ina Treciokas, has told the media, “She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
The Kardashian family was also in Paris for Fashion Week, but Kim’s husband Kanye West was performing in New York. When was told about the robbery, he immediately ended his set at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival. He left the stage, citing a “family emergency.”
At the time of writing, no members of the Kardashian family have made a public statement about the event.
It was the second threatening incident Kim has face while in Paris; last week she was assaulted by Vitalii Sediuk, the same man who made headlines for grabbing supermodel Gigi Hadid.
