“You know me, and you don’t” is the alluring mantra that underpins the new Chanel N°5 L’EAU fragrance campaign, starring the ever exquisite Lily-Rose Depp. We’ve seen the stunning campaign images, shot by French photographer Karim Sadli. Now, the first two 10 second commercial clips — directed by Swedish filmmaker Johan Renck — have arrived.
The model, actress, and social media starlet stars as the embodiment of the new Chanel woman: multi-faceted, vulnerable yet invincible, both artist and muse. She is someone who everybody thinks they know and yet is still full of surprises — the same of which could be said about Depp. While the final 30 and 60-second films won’t be released until the end of the year, you can whet your appetite with these dreamy clips and behind the scenes shots.
