Iceland Airwaves festival, held in Reykjavík in November, has announced a new wave of acts joining the already stellar line up. London grime legend Kano will be making his way to the land of volcanos and glaciers, along with US neo-soul band The Internet, psychedelic Norwich duo Let’s Eat Grandma, and Icelandic-English art school riot grrls Dream Wife.
The fresh additions will join 2016 festival headlining legend PJ Harvey (who mesmerised massive crowds at Primavera, Field Day and Glastonbury), US indie rockers Warpaint and the local, 15-strong all-female hip-hop crew Reykjavíkurdætur.
