Following the announcement back in April that Grimes is the new face of Stella McCartney’s POP fragrance, the first full-length ad for the campaign has been officially released after leaking online last night. In it, the synthpop warrior is joined by a killer girl gang featuring Amandla Stenberg, Lola Leon, and Kenya Kinski-Jones. The minute-long film follows the women as they embark on a dreamy desert road trip soundtracked by “Venus Fly” from Grimes’ latest album Art Angels.
The brand also shared a short pink-tinted video spotlighting i-D favorite Stenberg as a new face of the fragrance. Written alongside a 10 second teaser of Stenberg, Stella McCartney says, “Amandla, who I’m in awe of, emerges as this whole other creature. She owns it and is totally alive — that’s what is so contagious. They’re all so different and they’re all coming together in such a beautiful way.”
