Why are you Vote Remain? We’re better together.
What would you like to say anyone wanting us to leave the EU? I’m not sure if I could support the same argument as Nigel Farage.
What’s the best thing about Britain being in the EU? I like being a part of Europe and the freedom it gives us.
And the worst? Are there any changes you’d like to see? We could be doing a lot more to solve the refugee crisis, instead of treating refugees like criminals.
If you were a politician, what would you do differently? A lot of things, but I would try and solve the housing crisis rather than just talk about it.

What do you say to those who want to leave the EU? Why would you?!
What’s the best thing about Britain being in the EU? I’ve always felt part of a bigger community — my father was Hungarian, we’re all parts of each other.
And the worst? Are there any changes you’d like to see? Being part of the EU means we work together to change things for the better, it’s all a process as is life itself, learning from mistakes and moving forward.
If you were a politician, what would you do differently? I’m not a politician, it’s not a life I would choose; but I do think voting is important.
Can/should fashion be political? Yes, it certainly has the power to reflect social commentary and change opinion.

Why is it important that people register to vote? It’s important that a younger generation register to vote so that it’s not just an older generation.
Why are you Vote Remain? As an artist it is fundamental that we remain in the EU because the rising cost in living will be increased, as well as cuts being made in the arts.
What do you say to those who want to leave the EU? To really reconsider and access how it will effect a younger generation in years to come.
What’s the best thing about Britain being in the EU? Being able to travel and work abroad in the EU — without a visa. As an artist planning on a residency in Berlin, things would be so much more difficult as well as expensive.
If you were a politician, what would you do differently? There are many people who are in real trouble and danger in their countries due to war and famine. Allowing these vulnerable people in the EU should be reconsidered.
Can/should fashion be political? Fashion has always been political from the Mods to Punk. It’s a great way to express political views non-violently.

Kit Neale, London
What do you do? Fashion designer
Why are you taking part in the Stronger In campaign? I feel obliged to highlight the importance the EU relationship is to the fashion sector. I would feel liable if I were to stand silent on the side and see the possibility that the country votes in favor to leave. I believe we must do all we can to educate the importance of the EU to the UK. Above all, the EU is profoundly important for our culture, our unity, prosperity, peace, and our freedom — I will not stand accountable for denying this to future generations.
What’s the best thing about Britain being in the EU? The free movement of persons to work, reside, or travel in any EU member state without a permit. The free movement of goods, services, labor, and capital.
Why is it important that people register to vote? I love the Wolfgang Tillmans quote “What is lost is lost forever” — that may be good or bad depending on your stance but I believe it is important to have your say and not let others decide for you. How privileged we are to have a right to vote.
Can/should fashion be political? Yes, I think everyone can be political and I think fashion should be political if it’s appropriate for them. Shall a designer or brand choose to use their influence to better society, that should be celebrated.
If you were a politician, what would you do differently? I would always tell the truth.
