Creative dream team Gia Coppola and Tracy Antonopoulus have once again collaborated, this time to make a short film called The Runs, for online lifestyle platform Semaine. The film follows their whimsical adventures as they embark on a soul-searching mission through Florida, stopping at roadside gift stores and ultimately escaping to Disney Land. Hijinks ensue.
Complete with multiple, immaculately curated outfit changes and a wardrobe mixing pieces from Gucci to X-Girl (most of which can be shopped from the site) the film is clever, cute and feels like a pure distillation of the pair’s personalities. Directed by Tracy, it’s shot on handheld camcorders, and the occasional phone, and makes us want to run away from home immediately.
