Yesterday, 60s muse Jane Birkin was unveiled as the face of Saint Laurent’s new campaign for its iconic Le Smoking suit, and today another Saint Laurent star has been revealed. Although she hung up her modeling shoes last year to focus on her acting, Cara Delevingne is back once more as the new face of Hedi Slimane’s (ever-rumored ‘last collection’) La Collection de Paris, which he debuted during Paris Fashion Week in the brand’s exquisite new couture salons at the restored Hôtel Sénecterre.
Of course, this isn’t the first time the pair have worked together. Cara first posed for Hedi in 2013 when she starred in his fall/winter 13 grunge inspired campaign, and she has graced countless Saint Laurent catwalks and YSL beauty campaigns ever since. Shot in New York City, a fortnight ago, the new campaign consists of four black and white images, in which the British beauty stuns in an assortment of pieces including a black tuxedo and a sequin bustier dress with an oversize buckled belt.
