What does friendship mean to you?
A ship of friends. We’re all in this together, walking around the mother ship called Earth. I think our truest friends are the ones that give us total freedom to be ourselves and the vibrations of love are felt through the heart in a deep and mutual way.

What do you and your friends like to do?
Chill. Bask in sunshine and salty seas. Eat amazing nourishing foods. Sip cold beers or teas and talk sense and nonsense. Good conversation is essential.

My boy Sam started seeing her romantically, so we’ve been spending quite a bit of time together on her stints up here in Brisbane. One time I saw her make love to a speaker.
What does friendship mean to you?
Friends are a source of inspiration and guidance, unconditional love.
What anime character would best play you in the story of your life?
Ang from the Last Air Bender, because he’s vegetarian and he likes to meditate which are two major aspects of my life. Also, I am predominantly Vata which is the air dosha—constitutional makeup—in Ayurveda.

If you could go anywhere in the world right now and could only bring one friend, who would it be?
I’d go somewhere with my esteemed film maker colleague Sky Wallah, in hope to work on some exiting cultural documentary.
What do you and your friends like to do?
I’ve got quite a few different friend groups, all with different feels. We go to festivals, do kirtan together, play soccer, go find waterfalls and swimming holes, go see live music, get princed up.

What does friendship mean to you?
Sharing wine, houses, food, cars, nudity, hammocks and love. My life and most creative projects revolve mostly around my friends and I am forever grateful for them.

Sailor Jupiter: Purely based on the fact that my close friend Billie said so. Jupiter possesses powers associated with electricity and plants, and superhuman strength. I always get electrocuted by my car and I love gardening, so it’s fitting.

The Brisbane karaoke tour, weekly “exercise” routine at the local reservoir, spraying people with cheap bargains at our monthly Paddo yard sale and getting too excited about newly released runway shows and wine.

I met Rahkela on tour in Sydney, she let us party all night in her giant house on several occasions and was a real sweetheart about it… Now she’s dating an old friend and pops into Brisbane lots—lovely.

Friendship is like a big warm apple pie; a soft gooey centre encased in a firm crust. Maybe it’s just like the warm goo…either way it feeds you and keeps you nourished.

How do you know Rahkela?
I first met Rahkela through a spontaneous photo shoot, she was photographing my friend Grace and I ended up styling it. She’s full of energy, and a uplifting person to be around so I’m glad we met!
What does friendship mean to you?
Everything! It takes me a while to really open up to people, so the friends I have I really cherish. It’s all about co-operation, love and laughter, I think friendship is a really important part of life!
What anime character would best play you in the story of your life?
I don’t really watch Anime but I enjoyed Ponyo. So, maybe Granmamare in Ponyo. She’s so calm and just floats through life in the ocean, but on the other hand I’m not as majestic and beautiful as she, haha!

That’s tough, but probably: Father John Misty, I Love You Honey Bear; Warpaint, The Fool and The Raveonettes, Lust Lust Lust. Apart from Graveyard and some disco tunes, I always find myself listening to slow love songs, sappy albums and film soundtracks.
If you could go anywhere in the world right now and could only bring one friend, who would it be and why?
America! I’ve never been and have always wanted to go, all my favourite labels are based in LA, and a lot of friends have travelled there lately and think I’ll love it. I’m hopefully going this year with my good friend Sofia. But I’ll pack my boyfriend in my back pocket too if that’s allowed!
What do you and your friends like to do?
Going out for brunch, have a drink and a boogie at a show. Brisbane can sometimes feel small but there’s always something fun to do. With beautiful beaches close by my friends and I will plan a day trip to the coast, or visit friends and have a camping week in Broken Head or Byron. We’re always finding new secret spots!
