When Gemma Ward opened Prada’s spring/summer 15 show after a six-year hiatus, the noughties fashion enthusiasts went bonkers. The industry wasn’t the same without her angelic, alien-ish baby face! But the 28-year-old mother of one was just teasing, and although she’s since appeared on the cover of Vogue Australia and in the Givenchy spring/summer 16 campaign, her catwalk comeback was a one-off. Until yesterday, that is.
The blonde, blue-eyed beauty strutted her stuff once again on the Calvin Klein Collection menswear runway in Milan alongside fellow industry icons, Iselin Steiro, Mariacarla Boscono and Jessica Miller. The four familiar faces donned the boxy, sexy menswear as Calvin Klein Collection men’s creative director, Italo Zuchelli, explained that the universal power of men’s tailoring was his reasoning for placing woman in his menswear show.
