The spiritual sportswear design duo Ben Cottrell and Matthew Dainty of Cottweiler will exclusively launch their spring/summer 16 menswear collection at iconic London store Machine-A tomorrow night.
Beyond delivering a new rail of the freshest next-season gear, the designers will translate the magic of their fashion week presentations to the retail environment, launching the collection with an immersive experience that will include live installation, film, models and performers.
“Cottweiler is one of the most inspirational brands we work with, and the reason they have such vast numbers of followers is that they have managed to create a whole world, and when you see and buy the collection you become part of it,” says Machine-A founder Stavros Karelis.
“When I think of Cottweiler, I think of the visuals, the great presentations, the simple yet extremely well-tailored clothes, as well as the music and their mood boards,” Karelis continues, adding that the reasoning behind the exclusive launch in store and online is to bring that world to customers and friends, with “exclusive products together with live installation, film, music, models and an after party with a great music line up!”. “This is the Cottweiler world and we want to showcase it as it needs to be,” he adds.
Cottweiler spring/summer 16 launches online and in store at Machine-A on Tuesday 8 December.
