“When the day becomes the night, and the sky becomes the sea,
when the clock strikes heavy, and there’s no time for tea,
and in our darkest hour before my final rhyme,
she will come back home to Wonderland, and turn back the hands of time…”

Indeed she does. Mia Wasikowska returns to the magical, fantastical, nonsensical Underland as Alice, in the sequel to Tim Burton’s 2010 adaption of the Lewis Carroll classic, Alice in Wonderland. Directed by James Bobin and produced by Burton, Alice Through the Looking Glass sees Alice coming to the rescue of the Mad Hatter (played once again by Johnny Depp) from the personified version of Time (played by Sasha Baron Cohen).

Disney has released the new trailer, and it looks like it’s got all the kaleidoscopic “muchness” of the first one! Underland-fans will be pleased to see all the old faces returning for the sequel; Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Alan Rickman as the Blue Caterpillar, Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat and Matt Lucas as both Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

It’s a world where nothing is what it is, because everything is what it isn’t, where everybody’s bonkers, and your watch is two days slow! You can catch in cinemas from 27th May 2016. Don’t be late!
