Michelle Obama has shared her first ever playlist to celebrate the International Day of the Girl, a day chosen by the UN to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world. As you might expect, it’s packed with female empowerment anthems from across the decades.

The First Lady’s 20-song playlist includes Aretha Franklin’s Respect, Diana Ross’s Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, TLC’s No Scrubs, Lauryn Hill’s Doo Wop (That Thing) and Mary J. Blige’s Doubt, before bringing things right up to date with Demi Lovato’s fierce new single Confident. It also includes a couple of party bangers in the form of Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s Bang Bang and Fergie’s A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got). Perhaps unsurprisingly, Beyoncé appears twice on the playlist thanks to solo hit Run the World (Girls) and Destiny’s Child’s classic Survivor — nice choices, Mrs O. Listen to the full playlist, below.
