From Friday, London Fashion Week will be taking over its new neighbourhood, Soho, and if you can’t get a ticket to any of the shows, you can still get a piece of the pie by attending their talk series, brought to you by the British Fashion Council and American Express. The series is being held at the Conde Nast College of Fashion & Design and edited versions will be screened in Golden Square. Insiders will give you insight into how the industry works, including i-D’s Beauty Editor Isamaya Ffrench and photographer Miles Aldridge talking about Fashion Photography – Then And Now and i-D’s Casting Director Angus Monro and Paper Magazine’s Mickey Boardman talking about Fantastic Fashion Careers.
Stylist and accessories designer Judy Blame and set designer Gary Card will talk about Craft and Creativity in a Digital World, designer Zandra Rhodes and fashion journalist Caryn Franklin MBE will discuss Five Decades of Fashion and Art and Peter Pilotto and a panel of others will tell you how to get From Foundation to Fashion Week. Head here for the full schedule and to get your tickets.
Talks will be held daily from Friday 18th – Tuesday 22nd September 2015 at Conde Nast College of Fashion & Design, 16-17 Greek Street, London, W1D 4DR.
