If you’ve been following Alexa Chung on Instagram recently, you may have noticed her dropping hints on a “secret project”. This week she let the secret out, launching a fashion app called Villoid. The tech venture adds to her already impressive CV, filled with gigs like modelling, TV presenting, writing, and just being an all round cool girl—if you can call that last one a job.
Villoid is a platform where you can follow the brands we regularly see Alexa sporting—like Converse, Chloe, Marc Jacobs and Acne—plus other stylish users. You can create mood-boards (à la Pintrest) and shop directly from the app.
Alexa said on Instagram, “I am pleased and proud to announce that the secret app I have been working on for months is now available in the App Store today!!! Link in bio. It’s called VILLOID (more on that later) and I would love you to play with it and let me know what you think. With love, Alexa Zuckerberg-Chung,”.
