“Mademoiselle Privé” are the words that grace the door of Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel‘s workshop on the Rue Cambon in Paris. The French fashion house uses the term to refer to its hand-painted, embroidered and precious stone-covered luxury watches, but now, it’s also being borrowed by London’s Saatchi Gallery for an upcoming exhibition dedicated to the French fashion house.

Mademoiselle Privé — the exhibition — will present work by founder Coco Chanel and her successor, creative director Karl Lagerfeld, across three floors of the Saatchi, encompassing haute couture, re-editions of the 1932 haute joaillerie collection “Bijoux de Diamants” and the iconic perfume Chanel No5.

The exhibition promises to invoke Chanel’s essential elements: audacity, freedom and innovation, from “the history of Gabrielle Chanel’s inspirations” to “Karl Lagerfeld’s inimitable take on Chanel’s codes, symbols and icons.” The exhibition website also promises a visitor companion app.

Mademoiselle Privé runs from October 13 –  November 1, 2015 at the Saatchi Gallery, London
