The iconic work of Gaspar Noé — the luminary behind Irréversible and Enter the Void — sent his latest film to the top of our must-see list before we’d even seen the trailer. The sumptuous posters and Noé’s comment that, “with my next film I hope guys will have erections and girls will get wet,” further pique our interest. Love debuted in 3D, with a Cannes midnight screening. It follows the story of an American boy called Murphy and his girlfriend Electra having a threesome in Paris. While the film is — as the title suggests — focused on love, it is sexually explicit. After the film was picked up for American distribution, Noé released a full trailer. Watch it here.
