Donna Karan has left her eponymous high-end label following an announcement on Instagram:
“She will remain with the company in an advisory role and will dedicate her focus on her Urban Zen Company and foundation, which she founded in 2007.”
Donna Karan International is yet to begin the search for a successor, so the label won’t be presenting any shows for the time being. Donna launched internationally in 85 and three years later, created DKNY. Design duo Public School – Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne – were appointed as creative directors of DKNY in April, which is doing better than ever.
