London-based menswear designer Christopher Shannon has been selected to create an autumn/winter 15 capsule collection for River Island’s Design Forum, which has previously presented collaborations with James Long, Joseph Turvey and Baartmans & Siegel. “Call. The. Cops” were the three words Shannon used to describe his 11-piece Design Forum collection, which will feature a mixed-fabric, panelled puffa jacket, glitter appliqué tops, slogan sweat tops and tees, contrast-panel joggers, black pony boots and navy bum bag in teddy bear fur.

Shannon’s Design Forum collection will be first presented in a short film that will premiere on Saturday 13 June, during London Collections: Men, before the collection launches in selected River Island stores and online in mid-September.
