“Celebrities ruined fashion for me,” A$AP Rocky has said in an interview with Co.Create explaining that, “I used to put a lot of thought into what I was wearing and then all my favorite brands were being bought and worn by the biggest posers, and celebrities with terrible taste”.
Rocky has enjoyed fashion name-dropping in the past, rhyming Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Escada, and Balenciaga in Fashion Killa. But it seems his words have tipped off other, lesser celebrities about these enormous French and Italian fashion giants, rendering their garments just waaay too common.
Now the A$AP Mob member is keeping his looks on the down low, simply rocking “old Raf Simons jeans, beat up Alexander Wang boots, and a distressed VLONE T-shirt,” adding, “I’m just over it”
The Harlem rapper may be known for his swag, but all the big names are boring him now.
