Emerging British fashion talent Ashley Williams has teamed up with legendary label Red or Dead to create her first footwear line. Williams turned to the brand’s rich archive and played on their shared love of pop culture and nostalgia. The collection, called Making Movies, is for girls who want to live their lives like they’re in a film.
Red or Dead’s Creative Director, Katie Greenyer, was full of praise for the young designer, saying, “Ashley Williams is the ultimate Red or Dead accomplice. Her spirited creative energy, cultural awareness and Brit sense of humour perfectly reflect Red or Dead’s core values, and our heritage in the youth fashion movement.”
The collection includes pointed black leather sling-back stilettos with white polka dots, transparent vinyl court shoes and white kitten heels with black suede ties. They’ll be available in-store and online at schuh and Browns Focus from 16th February.
