The UK’s most prestigious music awards have rolled round again and the nominees are in. Last year’s Critics’ Choice winner, 22-year-old Sam Smith‘s is the name on everyone’s lips once more, up for five awards including British Album of the Year and British Male Solo Artist, which he’ll be battling it out against Ed Sheeran for. The girls are by no means falling short either, with FKA Twigs nominated for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act (up against CHVRCHES, George Ezra, Royal Blood and Sam Smith), and Charli XCX for British Artist Video of the Year. All will be revealed on 25th February at the BRIT Awards 2015, hosted by Ant & Dec and broadcast live on ITV.
