New Yorkers craving COS can cancel that plane ticket to LA, because the Swedish store is finally opening in NYC! After launching in Beverly Hills this October, the H&M-owned retailer’s second stateside store will open its doors today in Soho. Frequented by the European fashion crowd for years, seeking out its modern, minimalist, forward-thinking designs, COS is set to seep into the American wardrobe with its cosy jumpers, precise outerwear, and sharp basics.
The newly renovated, 4,950 square foot, Spring Street store will feature four floors stocked with their timeless menswear, womenswear, and accessories collections. Employing tactile materials like glass, concrete, and wood to evoke the clean lines of the COS collection, the COS store will also be divided by raw steel hanging rails to create the illusion of “rooms” to house their equal parts covetable and affordable clothes.
Counting Chanel and Burberry as next door neighbours, COS is sure to become a regular on every New Yorker’s shopping hit list – just in time for the holiday season!
