Rumours were rife that Rihanna would be the next Bond girl, but it’s just been announced that French actress Léa Seydoux (i-D cover star for the Lights, Camera, Action Issue, No. 319, Summer 2012) will play the femme fatale alongside a returning Daniel Craig. Seydoux comes with a mixture of indie movie gravitas and Hollywood experience: she’s best known for her role in Cannes’ Palme d’Or winning lesbian love drama Blue Is The Warmest Colour, but has also appeared in blockbusters Mission Impossible: Ghost Patrol and Inglourious Basterds.
