    The BAFTAs iPhone Dump 2025

Actors, musicians, photographers, and publicists give us their POV of British film’s biggest night.

As we get closer and closer to the awards season finish line––The Oscars will be held on 3 March, finally putting an end to all of this, until it kicks off again come May–– the race itself is still all over the place. Last Sunday’s BAFTA Film Awards proved that. Frontrunners fell back a few steps and powerful, though less obvious films and actors stepped into their places. Conclave leapfrogged the stiffest competition, thought to be Anora and The Brutalist, and won Best Film. While in Best Actress, Demi Moore’s long streak of wins for The Substance was scuppered by the late-stage ascent of our girl Mikey Madison. The whole night felt weird and exciting, which is how these things should go but seldom do. The weirdest thing of all? Watching Kylie Jenner watch Take That perform live.

The whole set-up involves months of preparation before the ceremony takes place, but deflates in a few short hours in a handful of messy and intense afterparties around London. To capture a more honest picture beyond the step and repeat, we asked actors (Harris Dickinson, Michele Austin), musicians (Shygirl, Rose Gray), publicists, journalists, and photographers to send us the photos that they feel summed up their night.
