Supreme have gone a little darker than usual with its latest collaboration, and our repressed scenester selves are here for it. The beloved skatewear brand has teamed up with Hysteric Glamour, the cult Japanese brand created by artist Nobuhiko Kitamura, for a capsule collection full of statement pieces for Spring 2021. The biggest streetwear aficionados may remember the pair previously collaborated back in 2017.
Founded in 1984, Hysteric Glamour is known for its salacious sloganeering, classic American silhouettes and colourful graphics. Who could forgot the “fuck you” faux fur jacket from the last collection?
The collection consists of a trench coat, trucker jacket, track jacket, sweater, flannel shirt, rayon shirt, painter pant, shorts, zip-up sweatshirt, crewneck and even a lunchbox set, perfect for when WFH comes to an end (one day, eh). There’s plenty of tie-dye, leopard print and distressed denim, as well as some velour vintage trackies, for those who don’t want to ditch the leggings and relaxed clothes just yet.
Check out the full collection here, available from Supreme online this Wednesday 18 March, and in Japan on Friday 20 March.
