In these sad and uncertain times, it’s important to focus on the positives in life: Netflix will always be there for you, flights just got really cheap, and when summer finally arrives, we’re hosting the mainstage at London’s Lovebox festival. Yep, for the second year running, we’ll be setting up camp in Gunnersbury Park between 12-14 June and having some of our favourite artists perform specially for you.

Having upped their game from two to three whole days of awesome music for 2020, Lovebox have opened up their line-up to more artists, DJs, dancers, poets and incredible talent. So! About this i-D stage…

On Friday we’ve got grown-up American Teen Khalid headlining alongside homegrown hero and i-D pal Jorja Smith, impossibly talented producer Kaytranada, BRIT Award-certified Mabel, Leicester band Easy Life and guaranteed-good-fun DJ collective Prestige Pak. Saturday will bring with it unstoppable London duo Disclosure, Peggy “Starry Night” Gou, Anderson Paak & the Free Nationals, poet-turned-rapper Kojey Radical, Camden rockstar Bakar, exciting Scottish weirdo Wuh Oh and buzzy artist du jour DWY. Phew.

Make it through to Sunday and boy will you be rewarded for your stamina: following his BRIT Awards win, Tyler, The Creator is headlining — the only London festival he’s playing this year. i-D coverstar FKA Twigs, too, will be bringing her incredible dance-heavy performance to the festival stage. Then there’s icon of British pop Charli XCX, Sweden’s Snoh Aalegra, New Orleans singer-songwriter Lucky Daye, Londoner Lava La Rue and the best thing to come out of Newcastle this decade, L Devine.

    See you there 🙂

Lovebox takes place 12-14 June 2020 in London. Tickets on sale now.
