For their Pre-SS20 womenswear collection, Alexander McQueen have enlisted Ethan James Green to shoot the accompanying campaign. Ethan, who transitioned from model to photographer over the last few years to great acclaim, has shot a number of McQueen collections previously. Last summer, as attendees of London Fashion Week Men’s wandered around a 14th century former monastery in central London to see the brand’s SS20 menswear collection, Ethan shot the models in situ for its accompanying imagery.

For this latest project, Ethan casts a handful of faces recognisable to those who are familiar with his work. Dara, the model and stylist whose portrait by Ethan hung in the National Portrait Gallery and who previously covered i-D’s The Radical Issue; Marcs Goldberg, a collaborator who appeared on the cover of Ethan’s first monograph Young New York, and Torraine Futurum, a model and musician who Petra Collins shot for i-D back in 2016.

Check out the images below, then head over to the Alexander McQueen store on Old Bond Street, where the brand have recently unveiled their new installation, Roses.
