The tiny, but mighty film studio A24, has made a name for itself with recent buzzworthy releases from Jonah Hill’s coming of age indie skate film, Mid90s, to Bo Burnham’s lovably reflective Eighth Grade.
While these more recent films have yet to be added to Kanopy, an online streaming service that you can access with an American library card (yes! that forgotten piece of plastic), there are 72 of A24’s productions available with no additional subscription necessary. Noteworthy features of the little known streaming service’s library include Lady Bird, The Florida Project, Moonlight, First Reformed, Ex Machina, and The Witch. And yes, Timothée stans, Hot Summer Nights is on there too. The best part? You can stream all of these movies for free. Well, as long as you have a library card.
