go-see is a new agency representing intriguing talent

Adding rising beauty Tsunaina to their small roster, they definitely have our attention.

Go-See is a new boutique mother agency whose mission statement is to remain small and nurture the careers of the lucky-few they represent. Established and run by photographer Tré Koch and makeup artist Raoul Alejandre, Go-See is really a formalisation of the kind of casting they’ve been doing naturally for years. In big news for the agency they’ve just signed Tsunaina, the London-based model who caught everyone’s attention by being one of the first to be featured by Burberry under Riccardo Tisci. She joins Go-See’s three other talents: Claudio, Dustin and Melissa. We spoke to Tre, one of the minds behind the agency, which promises to represent “all sizes, races, genders, ages and those outside of the model norm”, to find out more.

What made you want to start your own agency?
After nearly two years of running Go-See as an online casting platform, I found myself bringing on models who I believed would do great things. And often they did. I then started street casting and building relationships and realised it was only natural for me to start my own agency. When I met Raoul we decided to take Go-See to the next level together.

How did you come to sign the four models you now represent?
I found our four angels quite organically. Melissa hails from my city in Australia, and was actually the winner of Australia’s Next Top Model in 2013. I’d shot her previously and loved her vibe and look. She actually approached me earlier about being her mother agent. Six months later, here we are. Dustin is from Berlin and was scouted via my friend’s Instagram story. I saw him dancing in the background of a picture and loved his energy. He flew to London, where it was love at first sight. Claudio I met on an earlier shoot and he was a perfect fit.

And you’ve just signed Tsunaina, can you tell us about that?
In the past few weeks we’ve been working closely with our next talent, the incredibly beautiful Tsunaina, who we are beyond thrilled to represent. She has a striking look, the voice of an angel and a clear vision and we’ll be managing her as an overall artist. As she’s already somewhat established, we have big things in store for her and it’s been wonderful building a relationship with her based on common views about the world and where we see her fitting into it.

How do you plan to make sure your models are representative of wider society?
Starting small was always part of the plan, but eventually we will build the team and have the resources to properly look after all types of models from any race, gender, or sexual preference.

How has the casting landscape changed since you began in 2016?
In that time the street casting game has obviously taken over. You see brands like Vivienne Westwood and Balenciaga casting people who aren’t signed models every season. This push towards real people is only going to get bigger and bigger.

What is the future for Go-See?
Following our launch a few weeks back at the Love Shack in London, we’ll be building the agency whilst focussing on the models we currently have and giving them all the love and attention they need. Our street cast division will launch at the end of November. This will be a board of unique looking people from around the world who’ll be there to cater for those clients who are after a more specific type of talent, outside of the model norm.
