Who?
Wood Wood are a Danish label founded in 2002, who’ve been showing in London for a few seasons now, creating smart, future-forward streetwear. This season’s collection was titled The Outside and, unsurprisingly, was a tribute to the great outdoors.
What?
It was all about practical beauty; it was outdoorsy in a light, off-duty way — despite the twills and herringbones. The vibe was… chilling on the beach, but this is England and it might rain, so bring a mac. There were clean, sharp silhouettes, a Wood Wood trademark. It was light and breezy and summery. Socks and sandals. Bucket hats. The colour palette was very Scandinavian — greys and navies, with flashes of floral prints and light pastels.
Wow!
Despite all the understated chill, there was also a bright pink cotton two-piece. To be honest, everyone should own a bright pink heavy cotton two-piece.
