She’s the 20 year old Scouser who grew up in Marbella and found out she was walking for Burberry whilst in McDonalds with her mum on Oxford Street, Hollie-May Saker is our very own My Fair Lady, the epitome of the cheeky english rose. Now gracing the cover of Vogue Italia, the catwalks of everyone from Margiela to Moschino and the pages of i-D, Hollie-May is the Brit babe with 60s cinematic looks and a playful personality (she taught us how to slut-drop the last time she dropped by i-D Towers). 1. She’s always been a social butterfly.
“I enjoyed school – I was very sociable. I was an all-rounder, I didn’t stick to one group I mixed and had a laugh with everyone. “

“It has to have been working with the incredible Steven Meisel for January’s Vogue Italia cover story and featuring as one of the faces for the spring/summer 15 Moschino campaign. Steven also shot the campaign, it was so much fun, I had a great time and I loved the playfulness of it all.”
3. She’s not thinking “I’m Xena, Warrior Princess,” when she’s strutting her stuff on the runway, she’s just thinking…
“Don’t fall! I just keep thinking get to the end and don’t turn the wrong way!”
4. Her biggest fashion show mishap was when protesters stormed the spring/summer 14 Nina Ricci runway…
“Walking for Nina Ricci back in 2013 during Paris Fashion Week, topless FEMEN activists stormed the catwalk, grabbing my arm. I continued to walk the runway as if nothing had happened. Like the true professional I am!
5. She’s got some good advice for wannabe models…
“Don’t let anyone hold you back and if you have a dream then go for it. You need to have a thick skin in this industry so be prepared.”
6. Her boyfriend’s pretty cute…
“I don’t care about big/grand gestures, I love the fact that he is always there for me, constantly supporting me and being understanding. He bought me a disposable camera once that had cats printed on each picture when developed! That was pretty cute because I love cats!”
7. The one thing she would like to know the answer to is…
“Why do bad things happen to good people?”
8. In a blockbuster of her life this is who she’d want as the protagonists…
“Hmmm, I think Scarlett Johansson and maybe George Clooney! That would be pretty cool coupling.”
9. Her party trick is kinda gross.
“I can make fart noises with my hands! If that counts.”

“I hope to have had a very successful and fulfilling career. I would love to be surrounded by all my loved ones, on a beach in my favorite place in the world basking in the sunshine!”
